Collect(ive): the Grinnell People's Museum
Grinnell Iowa Three locations for the installation The images on view are of objects owned by Grinnellians of all ages and backgrounds. Each object means something special to someone in the community. Together, they create a collective picture of Grinnell, defined by the artifacts people choose to keep—and share. Binders cataloging every object scanned, along with information and stories provided by the participants are available in the Faulconer Gallery and Drake Community Library. The GPM field guide contains examples of individual objects and stories. Faulconer Gallery, Grinnell College |
